3rd and Final Announcement The Second International Conference on the Physics of Dusty Plasma ICPDP-99, Hakone, JAPAN 1. Programme: Conference program is already in the website: http://www.nit.ac.jp/icpdp/ 2. Manuscript Preparation: The conference proceedings will be published by the American Institute of Physics (AIP) in the following format: BOOK SIZE 162mm X 235mm with TEXT AREA 148mm X 219mm (6 X 9 inch) in SINGLE COLUMN format. Authors should use A4 size paper with TEXT AREA 148mm (width) and 219mm (height) Detail Style Manual for manuscript preparation in the above format is available at AIP website http://www.aip.org/cataloge/publish.html as a PDF ONLINE file (CP6x9.PDF) can be easily opened using Acrobat Reader. Participants must submit the ORIGINAL (laser print) Camera Ready manuscript and a copy of it at the conference registration desk. All manuscript will be reviewed before publication. Number of pages allotted for the contributions are as follows: Review Talk -10 pages; Invited Talk - 8 pages; Selected Oral Talk - 6 pages and Poster - 4 pages. 3. Poster Sessions: For poster presentation participants will be provided a board with area 1.6m X 0.80m to display their posters. 4. How to reach Conference site: The conference vanue, the Hotel Hakone Kowaki-en is situated at small hill town Ninotaira of Hakone-machi. Nearest railway station is Kowakidani in Hakone-Tozan line. It is 165km away from the Narita (TOKYO) International Airport and accessible by train (and bus). A recommended way with a guide map to reach the Conference site is given in the Conference website (http://www.nit.ac.jp/icpdp/). There will be reception at Hotel Hakone Kowaki-en on 23 May (starting from 18:00). The registration desk will be open on 23 May at 12:00 AM. 5. Participants who can not visit website (s). Participants who donot have internet facility to get the information directly from the respective website addresses are requested to inform us immediately by e-mail. 6. About lodging at Hotel Hakone Kowaki-en: One day lodging charge (15,000 yen and 20,000 yen for single occupancy) includes the dinner and next morning breakfast and lunch only. Boarders have to pay themselves separately for any other consumption (eg. beer, cold drinks etc.) at the hotel. All rooms are provided with a small refregerator. Boarders can use it free. Accompanying persons may opt for a reduced charge (13,500 yen) per day without lunch. No single bed room is available at the hotel. The room charge for a double bed room with single occupancy has been reduced to 20,000 yen per day with dinner, breakfast and lunch. 7. Money Exchange: Foreign participants are requested to exchange their money (US$ to Yen) at the Airport. However, for emergency a money exchange counter is available at the Hotel. 8. Participants who have not yet paid the registration fee have to inform us before March 30, 99 that they will pay late registration fee 45,000 yen (35,000 yen for students) at the Conference Registration desk. Otherwise no Hotel Reservation will be made for them. 9. Foreign participants are requested to inform us about their travel detail (flight no., date and time of arrival/departure). 10.
