First you have to come to Shinjyuku station of Odakyu line. There are two routes.

A) One is to take a Limousine bus which leaves a bus stop on the street just outside of the customs and waiting area. It is non-stop to Shinjyuku and takes 100 min (a fare: 3,000 Yen). It begins at 6:50 and ends at 22:35, and leaves 3 or 4 buses per hour. Getting off at Shinjyuku station, you walk toward the Odakyu department store along a sidewalk for three minutes. The platform of Odakyu line is on the ground floor of the Odakyu department store. An advantage of this route is that there are no stairs from the customs to the Hotel Kowaki-en. Therefore, this route is recommended for participants with heavy suitcases.

B) The other route is to take a train, Keisei line, from airport. Going out from the customs, you will see a down-going stairways. Going down the stairways, you will find the Narita station of Keisei line. Do not mistake with JR line whose station is next to Keisei line. You go to Nipporri station with a Limited Express (a fare: about 1,100 Yen, time: 1 hour and 10 min). You can take a special express called Skyliner for which you have to pay extra fare. At Nippori station, you change to JR Yamanote line to come to Shinjyuku station (a fare: 190 Yen, time: 20 min). The Yamanote line is circling around Tokyo city. Get on the train of the inner circle which passes Ikebukuro station in Nippori station. Shinjyuku station of Odakyu line is next to that of JR line.

To arrive Hakone-yumoto station by Odakyu line, you can choose two kinds of trains. One is a limited express called Romance car for which you have to pay 870 Yen in addition to fare 1,150 Yen to Hakone-yumoto station. It leaves in every 30 minutes from 7:00 until 19:00, and takes 1 hour 35min. At Hakone-yumoto, you change to Hakone-Tozan line to come to Kowaki-dani station (time: 32 min).

The other is the ordinary express (a fare to Kowaki-dani: 1,450 Yen).
You can also take an express which runs up to Odawara station from where you continue to Kowaki-dani by Hakone-Tozan Tetsudo. One thing you have to be careful is that you have to get on within front 6 compartments at Shinjyuku station. The other back 4 compartments separate at a midway station.

A car will be waiting at Kowaki-dani station, which will take you to Hotel Kowaki-en.
