Agreement regarding Joint Implementation of a Program for Promoting Inter-University Collaborative Education
Saitama Prefectural University, Saitama Medical University, Josai University, the Nippon Institute of Technology, and Saitama Prefecture (hereinafter referred to as the “component universities, etc.”) hereby conclude an agreement regarding an interuniversity collaboration initiative based on the Program for Promoting Inter-University Collaborative Education as described in the following clauses.
Article 1 Purpose
The component universities, etc. will work on active interuniversity collaboration with the purpose of transcending the public and private establishment formats achieving interuniversity collaboration tailored to the region and specialized fields, constructing a joint education and quality assurance system that meets the demands of society, assuring and improving the quality of education, and promoting differentiation by function that utilizes the strengths of each university.
Article 2 Content
The component universities, etc. will reliably implement the collaboration initiative based on an application for the “Program for Promoting Inter-University Collaborative Education (name of initiative: Development of professionals with a strong ability to collaborate to support the lifestyles of residents based on the Sai-no-Kuni university collaboration).”
Article 3 Period
This agreement shall become effective from the date of conclusion of the agreement and shall be valid for five years.
2. Notwithstanding the regulations in the preceding paragraph, the period may be extended through consultations among the component universities, etc.
Article 4 Other
The component universities, etc. shall consult and decide any matters not stipulated in this agreement and any doubts that arise regarding the clauses in this agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, five (5) copies shall be made of this document and the component universities, etc. shall retain one copy each.
